Labor Charges

Labor is billed according to the approved estimate. Depending on the type of repair, labor charges may differ based on the repair complexity.

Diagnostic Services

Diagnostic services are billed separately from repairs unless explicitly included in the estimate. Diagnostic work may include a vehicle scan (health report), scan-tool data analysis, electrical testing, and component testing.

Payment covers the testing performed and does not guarantee that every underlying fault will be identified in one session. If further testing is required beyond the originally approved diagnostic scope, NorCal Auto Care will explain the additional work and cost.

Additional Repairs

If the technician discovers additional problems during a repair, the shop will notify the customer and provide an updated estimate for approval before performing the additional work.
